While the rest of this home leaned light, bright, and a little breezy, I always love creating a bit of contrast, and this moody guest bathroom was the perfect place to do just that. A departure from the airier vibe elsewhere, we leaned into a darker, more dramatic palette here, and I love the tension it adds to the overall story of the home.
I’m sharing a few before photos to show just how far this space has come. It may be small in size, but what it lacks in square footage it makes up for in intention, and mood. Between the rich palette, the simple forms, and the layered textures, it’s become a warm and cocooning retreat. The kind of bathroom that invites you to linger.
To make it easy to recreate the look, I’ve pulled together a shoppable mood board featuring every last detail. This client is so generous and happy to share, so if you’re wondering about a specific source, feel free to ask.
